The Days of Play 2026 are rolling out from May 27, bringing two weeks of massive deals, $200,000 in tournament cash prizes, and fresh PS Plus games up for grabs. Here’s your complete guide to the event.
Just like every year, PlayStation is firing up its huge summer community event, running this time until June 10. The lineup is seriously stacked.

June’s PS Plus games revealed early: Grounded, Warhammer 40K, and a Nickelodeon brawler
PS Plus Essential and higher-tier subscribers can claim three new games starting June 2: Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, Obsidian’s wild survival adventure where you’re shrunk to bug-size in a backyard gone rogue; Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, Fatshark’s brutal co-op FPS set in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium; and Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2, a platform fighter starring the icons of Nickelodeon’s universe. This trio is all about genre diversity and multiplayer mayhem. Don’t forget, EA Sports FC 26—part of May’s lineup—remains available until June 16, so latecomers still have time to grab it.
Extra and Premium subscribers get even more. On June 9, Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (2025 edition) lands in the catalog, complete with the The Final Shape expansion. It’s the perfect chance to catch up on Bungie’s entire saga without spending a dime extra. Premium members also unlock over 40 indie game trials throughout the event, featuring standouts like Baby Steps, Lumines Arise, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, now boasting 436 GOTY awards. Plus, starting June 4, everyone gets free PlayStation Indies-themed avatars via a voucher code on the PS Plus page.
PlayStation tournaments: $200,000 up for grabs in Fortnite and prizes for every player
Days of Play isn’t just about discounts. Sony’s rolling out a tournament program spanning ten games—something for sports fans, fighters, and racers alike. Here’s the full roster:
- EA Sports Madden NFL 26
- NBA 2K26
- Tekken 8
- Mortal Kombat 1
- EA Sports UFC 5
- EA Sports College Football 26
- Gran Turismo 7
- Astro Bot
- Asphalt 9: Legends
- Fortnite
The main event? The Fortnite Days of Play Cup, boasting a global $200,000 prize pool. But even if you’re not gunning for the top, it’s worth joining in: every player who signs up for at least one match gets an exclusive Days of Play avatar and is automatically entered into a draw to win a PlayStation Portal, a DualSense Edge, 12 months of PS Plus Premium, and $100 in PS Store credit. The player with the most wins in each region scores the same prize pack. Special “Golden Tournaments” for EA Sports FC 26, Madden NFL 26, and Mortal Kombat 1 offer double virtual currency and a golden avatar. Gran Turismo 7 racers can snag an exclusive Days of Play livery.
Hardware deals: up to €100 off PS VR2 and PS5 accessories
This might be the most anticipated part—especially after April’s controversial PlayStation hardware price hike. Sony’s slashing €100 off the PS VR2, making the VR headset way more accessible. Pulse Explore earbuds are €50 off, Pulse Elite headset drops by €40, and both the DualSense Edge and Access Controller are €30 cheaper. Standard DualSense controllers are discounted by up to €20, and there’s even a limited-edition DualSense Marathon with a futuristic design inspired by Bungie’s upcoming game.
For European players (France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Austria, and the UK), PS Plus subscribers get an extra 5% off hardware and accessories when buying directly from direct.playstation.com. Standard shipping and returns are free on eligible orders. The Collector’s Edition of Ghost of Yōtei—complete with ghost mask and papercraft ginkgo—also gets €100 off during the event.
Hundreds of games on sale and up to 33% off PS Plus subscriptions
The PlayStation Store turns into a treasure trove for these two weeks. Hundreds of digital games are on sale, with discounts on recent hits like Ghost of Yōtei, Helldivers 2, Death Stranding 2, Resident Evil Requiem, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and even God of War Sons of Sparta, which shadowdropped in February. The selection is huge, from Baldur’s Gate 3 to Borderlands 4, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Split Fiction, and Hogwarts Legacy. It’s almost impossible not to splurge.
On the subscription front, new PS Plus members in participating countries can save up to 33% on 12-month plans across all tiers. Current Essential or Extra members get the same discount when upgrading to Premium or Deluxe. PS Plus members also score an extra 15% off movies via Sony Pictures Core, with titles like Caught Stealing, Jumanji: The Next Level, and Resident Evil: Death Island in the lineup.
With such a packed schedule from May 27 to June 10, Days of Play 2026 is the perfect time to expand your game library, upgrade your PS Plus, or finally grab that PS VR2 you’ve been eyeing. Sony promises regular updates on the event page throughout the fortnight, and more deals could drop along the way.
